٢٣١ - باب فضل من فطر صائما وفضل الصائم الذي يؤكل عنده ودعاء الآكل للمأكول عنده
Hadith1265
- ﵁ - - ﷺ -
Zayd ibn Khālid al-Juhanī (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever provides food for a fasting person to break their fast will have a reward like his, without that diminishing anything from the fasting person's reward." Narrated by al-Tirmidhī, who said: "A good and sound hadith."
Hadith1266
﵂: - ﷺ - - ﷺ:
Umm ʿUmārah al-Anṣāriyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Prophet ﷺ came in to her, and she set food before him. He said: "Eat." She replied: "I am fasting." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: "When food is eaten in the presence of a fasting person, the angels invoke blessings upon him until they finish." And he may have said: "until they have eaten their fill." Narrated by al-Tirmidhī, who said: "A good hadith."

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ came to Saʿd ibn ʿUbādah (may Allah be pleased with him), who brought bread and oil, and he ate. The Prophet ﷺ then said: "Those who were fasting have broken their fast with you; the righteous have eaten your food; and the angels have invoked blessings upon you." Narrated by Abū Dāwūd with a sound chain.
