٢٢٠ - باب ما يقال عند رؤية الهلال

From Ṭalḥah ibn ʿUbaydullāh (may Allah be pleased with him): whenever the Prophet ﷺ saw the new moon, he would say: "O Allah, bring it over us with security and faith, with safety and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah; a crescent of right guidance and good." Narrated by al-Tirmidhī, who said: "A good (ḥasan) hadith."
