١٥٤ - باب الكف عن ما يرى من الميت من مكروه

On the authority of Abū Rāfiʿ Aslam, the freed slave (mawlā) of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever washes a deceased person and then conceals what he sees of him, Allah forgives him forty times." Narrated by al-Ḥākim, who said: sound according to the conditions of Muslim.
