Ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When a servant is sincere towards his master and worships Allah well, he has his reward twice over.” Agreed upon.
Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “For the owned slave who does his duty well there are two rewards.” And by the One in whose Hand is the soul of Abu Hurayra, were it not for striving in the path of Allah, the pilgrimage, and dutifulness to my mother, I would dearly love to die while still an owned slave. Agreed upon.
Abu Musa al-Ashʿari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The owned slave who worships his Lord well and renders to his master what is due from him of right, sincere counsel, and obedience, has two rewards.” Narrated by al-Bukhari.
He also reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Three persons have two rewards: a man from the People of the Book who believed in his own prophet and then believed in Muhammad; the owned slave when he fulfils the right of Allah and the right of his masters; and a man who had a slave-woman whom he disciplined, and disciplined her well, taught her, and taught her well, then freed her and married her — he has two rewards.” Agreed upon.
