From ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: «Let none of you say: My soul has become wicked; rather let him say: My soul has become constricted.» Agreed upon (al-Bukhārī and Muslim). The scholars said: the meaning of «become wicked» is: vomited, which is the meaning of «become constricted»; but he disliked the wording of wickedness.
