١٣٩ - باب استحباب السلام إذا قام من المجلس وفارق جلساءه أو جليسه

On the authority of Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When one of you arrives at a gathering, let him give the greeting of peace; and when he wishes to rise, let him give the greeting of peace, for the first is no more deserving than the last." Narrated by Abū Dāwūd and al-Tirmidhī, who said: "A good (ḥasan) hadith."
