١٢٤ - باب النهي عن افتراش جلود النمور والركوب عليها

On the authority of Muʿāwiya (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do not ride upon khazz silk, nor upon leopard skins." A good (ḥasan) hadith, narrated by Abū Dāwūd and others with a good chain.

And on the authority of Abū al-Malīḥ, from his father (may Allah be pleased with him): that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the skins of beasts of prey. Narrated by Abū Dāwūd, al-Tirmidhī, and al-Nasāʾī with sound chains. In a narration of al-Tirmidhī: he forbade the skins of beasts of prey being spread out (as a furnishing to sit upon).
