Allah the Exalted said:
رياض الصالحينAbū Zakariyyā Muḥyī al-Dīn Yaḥyā ibn Sharaf al-Nawawī٢٤٥ - باب ذكر الله تعالى قائما أو قاعدا ومضطجعا ومحدثا وجنبا وحائضا إلا القرآن فلا يحل لجنب ولا حائض
٢٤٥ - باب ذكر الله تعالى قائما أو قاعدا ومضطجعا ومحدثا وجنبا وحائضا إلا القرآن فلا يحل لجنب ولا حائض
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding -
﵂، - ﷺ -
On the authority of ʻĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to remember Allah at all of his times. Narrated by Muslim.
وعن ابن عباسٍ - ﵁ - عن النبيِّ - ﷺ - قَالَ: «لَوْ أنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا أتَى أهْلَهُ قَالَ: بِسْمِ الله، اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا الشَّيْطَانَ، وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا، فَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَدٌ، لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ». متفق عَلَيْهِ.
On the authority of Ibn ʻAbbās (may Allah be pleased with them both), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: “If one of you, when he comes to his wife, were to say: In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep us away from Satan and keep Satan away from what You provide us; then, were a child to be decreed between them, [Satan] would never harm it.” Agreed upon.
