Allah, exalted is He, says:
رياض الصالحينAbū Zakariyyā Muḥyī al-Dīn Yaḥyā ibn Sharaf al-Nawawī٣٧٢ - باب بيان ما أعد الله تعالى للمؤمنين في الجنة
٣٧٢ - باب بيان ما أعد الله تعالى للمؤمنين في الجنة
Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs,
And He, exalted is He, says:
يَـٰعِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ وَلَآ أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ
[To whom Allāh will say], "O My servants, no fear will there be concerning you this Day, nor will you grieve,
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍ
Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place:
إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ
Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure
والآيات في الباب كثيرة معلومة.
The verses on this subject are many and well known.
وعن جابر - ﵁ - قَالَ: قَالَ رسولُ اللهِ - ﷺ: «يَأكُلُ أَهْلُ الجَنَّةِ فِيهَا، وَيَشْرَبُونَ، وَلاَ يَتَغَوَّطُونَ، وَلاَ يَمْتَخِطُونَ، وَلاَ يَبُولُونَ، وَلكِنْ طَعَامُهُمْ ذَلِكَ جُشَاءٌ كَرَشْحِ المِسْكِ، يُلْهَمُونَ التَّسْبِيحَ وَالتَّكْبِيرَ، كَمَا يُلْهَمُونَ النَّفَسَ». رواه مسلم.
Jābir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of Paradise eat and drink therein, but they do not relieve their bowels, nor blow their noses, nor urinate; rather their food becomes a belch like the exuding of musk. They are inspired with glorification and magnification [of Allah] just as they are inspired with breathing." Narrated by Muslim.
وعن أَبي هريرة - ﵁ - قَالَ: قَالَ رسولُ اللهِ - ﷺ: «قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى: أَعْدَدْتُ لِعِبَادِي الصَّالِحِينَ مَا لاَ عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ، وَلاَ أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ، وَلاَ خَطَرَ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ، وَاقْرَؤُوا إنْ شِئْتُمْ: ﴿فَلاَ تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنِ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ﴾ [السجدة: ١٧]». متفق عَلَيْهِ.
Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, exalted is He, says: I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and what has never occurred to the heart of any human. Recite, if you wish: 'No soul knows what comfort of the eyes is kept hidden for them, as a reward for what they used to do.' [al-Sajdah: 17]." Agreed upon.
وعنه، قَالَ: قَالَ رسولُ الله - ﷺ: «أَوَّلُ زُمْرَةٍ يَدْخُلُونَ الجَنَّةَ عَلَى صُورَةِ القَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ البَدْرِ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ عَلَى أشَدِّ كَوْكَبٍ دُرِّيٍّ فِي السَّمَاءِ إضَاءةً، لاَ يَبُولُونَ، وَلاَ يَتَغَوَّطُونَ، وَلاَ يَتْفُلُونَ، وَلاَ يَمْتَخِطُونَ. أمْشَاطُهُمُ الذَّهَبُ، وَرَشْحُهُمُ المِسْكُ، وَمَجَامِرُهُمُ الأُلُوَّةُ - عُودُ الطِّيبِ - أزْوَاجُهُمُ الحُورُ العيْنُ، عَلَى خَلْقِ رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ، عَلَى صُورَةِ أَبِيهِمْ آدَمَ سِتُّونَ ذِرَاعًا فِي السَّمَاءِ» متفق عَلَيْهِ. وفي رواية البخاري ومسلم: «آنِيَتُهُمْ فِيهَا الذَّهَبُ، وَرَشْحُهُمُ المِسْكُ. وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ زَوْجَتَانِ يُرَى مُخُّ سَاقِهِمَا مِنْ وَرَاءِ اللَّحْمِ مِنَ الحُسْنِ، لاَ اخْتِلاَفَ بَيْنَهُمْ، وَلاَ تَبَاغُضَ، قُلُوبُهُمْ قَلْبُ وَاحِدٍ، يُسَبِّحُونَ اللهَ بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًا». قوله: «عَلَى خَلْقِ رَجُلٍ واحدٍ». رواه بعضهم بفتح الخاء وإسكان اللام وبعضهم بضمهما وكلاهما صحيح.
He also reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The first group to enter Paradise will be in the form of the moon on the night of the full moon; then those who follow them will be like the brightest shining star in the sky in brilliance. They will not urinate, nor relieve their bowels, nor spit, nor blow their noses. Their combs will be of gold, their sweat musk, and their censers aloeswood — the wood of fragrance; their wives will be the wide-eyed houris. They will be upon the make of a single man, in the form of their father Ādam, sixty cubits tall into the sky." Agreed upon. In the narration of al-Bukhārī and Muslim: "Their vessels therein will be of gold, and their sweat musk. Each one of them will have two wives, the marrow of whose shins can be seen through the flesh out of [their] beauty. There will be no discord among them and no mutual hatred; their hearts will be as the heart of one man; they will glorify Allah morning and evening." His words "upon the make of a single man" — some narrated it with a fatḥah on the khāʾ and a sukūn on the lām, and some with a ḍammah on both, and both are correct.
وعن المغيرةِ بن شعبة - ﵁ - عن رسُولِ الله - ﷺ - قال: «سألَ مُوسَى - ﷺ - رَبَّهُ: ما أدْنَى أهْلِ الجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلَةً؟ قال: هُوَ رَجُلٌ يَجِيءُ بَعْدَ مَا أُدْخِلَ أهْلُ الجَنَّةِ الجَنَّةَ، فَيُقَالُ لَهُ: ادْخُلِ الجَنَّةَ. فَيَقُولُ: أيْ رَبِّ، كَيْفَ وَقَدْ نَزَلَ النَّاسُ مَنَازِلَهُمْ، وأخَذُوا أَخَذَاتِهِمْ؟ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ: أَتَرْضَى أَنْ يَكُونَ لَكَ مِثْلُ مُلْكِ مَلِكٍ مِنْ مُلُوكِ الدُّنْيَا؟ فَيقُولُ: رَضِيْتُ رَبِّ، فَيقُولُ: لَكَ ذَلِكَ وَمِثْلُهُ وَمِثْلُهُ وَمِثْلُهُ وَمِثْلُهُ، فَيقُولُ في الخامِسَةِ. رَضِيْتُ رَبِّ، فَيقُولُ: هذَا لَكَ وَعَشَرَةُ أَمْثَالِهِ، وَلَكَ مَا اشْتَهَتْ نَفْسُكَ، وَلَذَّتْ عَيْنُكَ. فَيقُولُ: رَضِيتُ رَبِّ. قَالَ: رَبِّ فَأَعْلاَهُمْ مَنْزِلَةً؟ قالَ: أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ أَرَدْتُ؛ غَرَسْتُ كَرَامَتَهُمْ بِيَدِي، وَخَتَمْتُ عَلَيْهَا، فَلَمْ تَرَ عَيْنٌ، وَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ أُذُنٌ، وَلَمْ يَخْطُرْ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ». رواه مسلم.
Al-Mughīrah ibn Shuʿbah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "Mūsā (peace and blessings be upon him) asked his Lord: Who is the lowest in rank among the people of Paradise? He said: He is a man who comes after the people of Paradise have been admitted into Paradise, and it is said to him: Enter Paradise. He says: O my Lord, how, when the people have already taken their places and taken their shares? It is said to him: Would you be content that you have the like of the kingdom of one of the kings of the world? He says: I am content, my Lord. He says: That is yours, and the like of it, and the like of it, and the like of it, and the like of it — and at the fifth he says: I am content, my Lord. He says: This is yours, and ten times its like, and you shall have whatever your soul desires and your eye delights in. He says: I am content, my Lord. He [Mūsā] said: My Lord, and the highest of them in rank? He said: Those are the ones I willed [specially]; I planted their honour with My hand and sealed over it, so no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and it has never occurred to the heart of any human." Narrated by Muslim.
وعن ابن مسعود - ﵁ - قال: قال رسولُ اللهِ - ﷺ: «إنِّي لأَعْلَمُ آخِرَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ خُرُوجًا مِنْهَا، وَآخِرَ أَهْلِ الجَنَّةِ دُخُولًا الجَنَّةَ. رَجُلٌ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ النَّارِ حَبْوًا، فَيقُولُ اللهُ - ﷿ - له: اذْهَبْ فادْخُلِ الجَنَّةَ، فَيَأتِيهَا، فَيُخَيَّلُ إلَيْهِ أَنَّهَا مَلأَى، فَيَرْجِعُ، فَيقُولُ: يَا رَبِّ وَجَدْتُهَا مَلأَى! فَيَقُولُ اللهُ - ﷿ - له: اذْهَبْ فَادْخُلِ الجَنَّةَ، فيأتِيهَا، فَيُخيَّلُ إليهِ أنَّها مَلأى، فيَرْجِعُ. فَيَقولُ: يا رَبِّ وَجَدْتُهَا مَلأى، فيقُولُ اللهُ - ﷿ - لَهُ: اذهبْ فَادخُلِ الجنَّةَ. فَإنَّ لَكَ مِثْلَ الدُّنْيَا وَعَشرَةَ أَمْثَالِهَا؛ أوْ إنَّ لَكَ مِثْلَ عَشرَةِ أَمْثَالِ الدُّنْيَا، فَيقُولُ: أتَسْخَرُ بِي، أَوْ تَضْحَكُ بِي وَأنْتَ المَلِكُ». قال: فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رسولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - ضَحِكَ حَتَّى بَدَتْ نَوَاجِذُهُ فَكَانَ يقولُ: «ذلِكَ أَدْنَى أهْلِ الجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلَةً» متفق عليه.
Ibn Masʿūd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed I surely know the last of the people of the Fire to come out of it, and the last of the people of Paradise to enter Paradise: a man who comes out of the Fire crawling, and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says to him: Go and enter Paradise. So he comes to it, and it appears to him that it is full, so he returns and says: O my Lord, I found it full! Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says to him: Go and enter Paradise. So he comes to it, and it appears to him that it is full, so he returns and says: O my Lord, I found it full. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says to him: Go and enter Paradise, for you shall have the like of the world and ten times its like — or: you shall have the like of ten times the world. He says: Are You mocking me, or laughing at me, when You are the King? He [Ibn Masʿūd] said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) laugh until his molars became visible, and he used to say: That is the lowest of the people of Paradise in rank." Agreed upon.
وعن أبي موسى - ﵁: أنَّ النبيَّ - ﷺ - قال: «إنَّ لِلمُؤْمِنِ فِي الجَنَّةِ لَخَيْمَةً مِنْ لُؤْلُؤَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ مُجَوَّفَةٍ طُولُها في السَّمَاءِ سِتُّونَ مِيلًا. لِلمُؤْمِنِ فِيهَا أَهْلُونَ يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمُ المُؤْمِنُ فَلاَ يَرَى بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا» متفق عليه. «المِيلُ»: سِتة آلافِ ذِراعٍ.
Abū Mūsā (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed the believer will have in Paradise a tent of a single hollowed-out pearl, its length into the sky being sixty miles. The believer will have in it family members whom the believer goes round to visit, yet they will not see one another." Agreed upon. "The mile": six thousand cubits.
وعن أبي سعيد الخدري - ﵁ - عن النبيِّ - ﷺ - قال: «إنَّ في الجَنَّةِ شَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكبُ الجَوَادَ المُضَمَّرَ السَّريعَ مِائَةَ سَنَةٍ مَا يَقْطَعُها» متفق عليه. وروياه في الصحيحين أيضًا من رواية أبي هريرة - ﵁ - قال: «يَسيرُ الرَّاكِبُ في ظِلِّها مئةَ سَنَةٍ مَا يَقْطَعُها».
Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī (may Allah be pleased with him) reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "Indeed in Paradise there is a tree under which a rider on a swift, lean-trained steed would travel for a hundred years and not cross it." Agreed upon. They both also narrated it in the two Ṣaḥīḥs from the report of Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "A rider would travel in its shade for a hundred years and not cross it."
وعنه ، عن النبيِّ - ﷺ - قال: «إنَّ أهْلَ الجَنَّةِ لَيَتَرَاءوْنَ أَهْلَ الغُرَفِ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ كَمَا تَرَاءوْنَ الكَوْكَبَ الدُّرِّيَّ الغَابِرَ فِي الأُفُق مِنَ المَشْرِقِ أو المَغْرِبِ لِتَفَاضُلِ مَا بَيْنَهُمْ» قالُوا: يا رسول الله؛ تِلْكَ مَنَازِلُ الأنبياء لاَ يَبْلُغُها غَيْرُهُمْ قال: «بَلَى والَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، رِجَالٌ آمَنُوا بِاللهِ وَصَدَّقُوا المُرْسَلِينَ». متفق عليه.
He also reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "Indeed the people of Paradise will behold the people of the lofty chambers above them just as you behold the shining star remaining in the horizon, from the east or the west, because of the disparity in rank between them." They said: O Messenger of Allah, those are the dwellings of the prophets which none but them can reach. He said: "Yes indeed, by the One in whose hand is my soul: [they are] men who believed in Allah and affirmed the messengers." Agreed upon.
وعن أبي هريرة - ﵁: أنَّ رسولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - قال: «لَقَابُ قَوْسٍ في الجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا تَطْلُعُ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ أو تَغْرُبُ» متفق عليه.
Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Surely the span of a bow in Paradise is better than all that upon which the sun rises or sets." Agreed upon.
وعن أنس - ﵁: أنَّ رسول الله - ﷺ - قال: «إنَّ في الجَنَّةِ سُوقًا يَأتُونَهَا كُلَّ جُمُعَةٍ. فَتَهُبُّ رِيحُ الشَّمَالِ، فَتَحْثُو في وُجُوهِهِم وَثِيَابِهِمْ، فَيَزدَادُونَ حُسنًا وَجَمَالًا فَيَرْجِعُونَ إلَى أَهْلِيهِمْ، وَقَد ازْدَادُوا حُسْنًا وَجَمَالًا، فَيقُولُ لَهُمْ أَهْلُوهُمْ: وَاللهِ لقدِ ازْدَدْتُمْ حُسْنًا وَجَمَالًا! فَيقُولُونَ: وَأنْتُمْ وَاللهِ لَقَدِ ازْدَدْتُمْ بَعْدَنَا حُسْنًا وَجَمالًا!». رواه مسلم.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed in Paradise there is a market to which they come every Friday. The north wind blows and scatters [fragrance] upon their faces and their garments, so they increase in fairness and beauty. Then they return to their families having increased in fairness and beauty, and their families say to them: By Allah, you have increased in fairness and beauty! And they say: And you too, by Allah, have increased in fairness and beauty since we left!" Narrated by Muslim.
وعن سهل بن سعد - ﵁: أنَّ رسول الله - ﷺ - قال: «إنَّ أهْلَ الجَنَّةِ لَيَتَراءونَ الغُرَفَ فِي الجَنَّةِ كَمَا تَتَرَاءونَ الكَوكَبَ فِي السَّمَاءِ» متفق عليه.
Sahl ibn Saʿd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed the people of Paradise will behold the lofty chambers in Paradise just as you behold a star in the sky." Agreed upon.
وعنه - ﵁ - قال: شَهِدْتُ مِنَ النبيّ - ﷺ - مَجْلِسًا وَصَفَ فِيهِ الجَنَّةَ حَتَّى انْتَهَى، ثُمَّ قَالَ في آخِرِ حَدِيثِهِ: «فيهَا مَا لاَ عَينٌ رَأَتْ، وَلاَ أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ، وَلاَ خَطَرَ عَلى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ» ثُمَّ قَرَأَ: ﴿تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ المَضَاجِعِ﴾ إلى قوله تعالى: ﴿فَلاَ تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ﴾ [السجدة: ١٦ - ١٧]. رواه البخاري.
He also (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I witnessed a gathering of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in which he described Paradise until he finished, then he said at the end of his discourse: "In it is what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and what has never occurred to the heart of any human." Then he recited: "Their sides forsake their beds..." up to His word, exalted is He: "...No soul knows what comfort of the eyes is kept hidden for them." [al-Sajdah: 16-17]. Narrated by al-Bukhārī.
وعن أبي سعيد وأبي هريرة ﵄: أنَّ رسولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - قال: «إذَا دَخَلَ أهْلُ الجَنَّةِ الجَنَّةَ يُنَادِي مُنَادٍ: إنَّ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَحْيَوْا، فَلاَ تَمُوتُوا أَبَدًا، وإنَّ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَصِحُّوا، فلا تَسْقَمُوا أبدًا، وإنَّ لَكمْ أَنْ تَشِبُّوا فلا تَهْرَمُوا أبدًا، وإنَّ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَنْعَمُوا، فَلاَ تَبْأسُوا أَبَدًا». رواه مسلم.
Abū Saʿīd and Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, a caller calls out: It is yours to live and never die; it is yours to be healthy and never fall sick; it is yours to stay young and never grow old; and it is yours to enjoy bliss and never suffer misery." Narrated by Muslim.
وعن أبي هريرة - ﵁: أنَّ رسولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - قال: «إنَّ أدْنَى مَقْعَدِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِن الجَنَّةِ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ: تَمَنَّ، فَيَتَمَنَّى وَيَتَمَنَّى فَيقُولُ لَهُ: هَلْ تَمَنَّيتَ؟ فيقولُ: نَعَمْ، فيقُولُ لَهُ: فَإنَّ لَكَ ما تَمَنَّيتَ وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ». رواه مسلم .
Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed the lowest station of any of you in Paradise is that He will say to him: Wish. So he wishes and wishes, then He says to him: Have you wished? He says: Yes. So He says to him: You shall have what you wished, and the like of it with it." Narrated by Muslim.
وعن أبي سعيد الخدري - ﵁: أنَّ رسول الله - ﷺ - قال: «إنَّ الله - ﷿ - يَقُولُ لأَهْلِ الجَنَّةِ: يَا أَهْلَ الجَنَّةِ، فَيقولُونَ: لَبَّيكَ رَبَّنَا وَسَعْدَيْكَ، وَالخَيْرُ في يَديْكَ، فَيقُولُ: هَلْ رَضِيتُم؟ فَيقُولُونَ: وَمَا لَنَا لاَ نَرْضَى يَا رَبَّنَا وَقَدْ أَعْطَيْتَنَا مَا لَمْ تُعْطِ أحدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، فَيقُولُ: ألاَ أُعْطِيكُمْ أفْضَلَ مِنْ ذلِكَ؟ فَيقُولُونَ: وَأيُّ شَيءٍ أفْضَلُ مِنْ ذلِكَ؟ فَيقُولُ: أُحِلُّ عَلَيكُمْ رِضْوَانِي فَلاَ أسْخَطُ عَلَيْكُمْ بَعْدَهُ أبَدًا». متفق عليه.
Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will say to the people of Paradise: O people of Paradise! They will say: At Your service, our Lord, and at Your pleasure, and all good is in Your hands. He will say: Are you content? They will say: And why should we not be content, O our Lord, when You have given us what You have given to no one of Your creation? He will say: Shall I not give you something better than that? They will say: And what thing is better than that? He will say: I bestow upon you My good pleasure, and I will never be angry with you after it, ever." Agreed upon.
وعن جرير بن عبد الله - ﵁ - قال: كُنَّا عِندَ رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ - فَنَظَرَ إلَى القَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ البَدْرِ، وَقَالَ: «إنَّكُمْ سَتَرَوْنَ رَبَّكُمْ عَيَانًا كما تَرَوْنَ هَذَا القَمَرَ، لاَ تُضَامُونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ» متفق عليه.
Jarīr ibn ʿAbd Allah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he looked at the moon on the night of the full moon and said: "Indeed you will see your Lord plainly, just as you see this moon; you will not be crowded in seeing Him." Agreed upon.
وعن صُهيب - ﵁: أنَّ رسول الله - ﷺ - قال: «إذا دَخَلَ أهْلُ الجَنَّةِ الجَنَّةَ يَقُولُ اللهُ ﵎: تُريدُونَ شَيئًا أَزيدُكُمْ؟ فَيقُولُونَ: ألَمْ تُبَيِّضْ وُجُوهَنَا؟ ألَمْ تُدْخِلْنَا الجَنَّةَ وَتُنَجِّنَا مِنَ النَّارِ؟ فَيَكْشِفُ الحِجَابَ، فَمَا أُعْطُوا شَيْئًا أَحَبَّ إلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّظَرِ إلَى رَبِّهِمْ».رواه مسلم.
Ṣuhayb (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, Allah, exalted is He, will say: Do you wish for anything that I may add for you? They will say: Did You not brighten our faces? Did You not admit us to Paradise and deliver us from the Fire? Then He will remove the veil, and they will not have been given anything more beloved to them than looking at their Lord." Narrated by Muslim.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ يَهْدِيهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِإِيمَـٰنِهِمْ ۖ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمُ ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ فِى جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Beneath them rivers will flow in the Gardens of Pleasure.
الحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِي لَوْلاَ أَنْ هَدَانَا اللهُ. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ النَّبيِّ الأُمِّيِّ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأزوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ، كما صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إبْرَاهِيمَ وعلى آلِ إبْراهِيمَ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبيِّ الأُمِّيِّ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ، كما بَاركْتَ عَلَى إبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آل إبراهيم في العالَمِينَ إنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ.
All praise be to Allah who guided us to this; we would never have been guided had Allah not guided us. O Allah, send blessings upon Muḥammad, Your servant and Your Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, and upon the family of Muḥammad, his wives and his offspring, just as You sent blessings upon Ibrāhīm and upon the family of Ibrāhīm; and bless Muḥammad, the unlettered Prophet, and the family of Muḥammad, his wives and his offspring, just as You blessed Ibrāhīm and the family of Ibrāhīm among all the worlds. Indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.
قال مؤلِّفُهُ: فَرَغْتُ مِنْهُ يَوْمَ الإثْنَيْنِ رَابِعَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ سَنَةَ سَبْعِينَ وَسِتِّمِائَةٍ
Its author said: I finished it on Monday, the fourth of the month of Ramaḍān, in the year six hundred and seventy [670 AH]
