On the authority of Abū Masʿūd al-Badrī (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: A man invited the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to a meal he had prepared for him, as the fifth of five. A man then followed them, and when he reached the door, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: «This man has followed us; if you wish, you may give him permission, and if you wish, he will go back.» He said: Rather, I give him permission, O Messenger of Allah. Agreed upon.
