On the authority of Abu Saʿid al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) acquired a new garment, he would call it by its name — a turban, a shirt, or a cloak — and would say: [review: the wording of the supplication is absent in the source text]. Narrated by Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi, who said: "A good (ḥasan) ḥadīth."
