رياض الصالحينAbū Zakariyyā Muḥyī al-Dīn Yaḥyā ibn Sharaf al-Nawawī٢٩٢ - باب تحريم تشبه الرجال بالنساء وتشبه النساء بالرجال في لباس وحركة وغير ذلك
On the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed the effeminate men and the masculine-acting women. In a version: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed those men who imitate women and those women who imitate men. Narrated by al-Bukhārī.
On the authority of Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed the man who dresses in the manner of a woman, and the woman who dresses in the manner of a man. Narrated by Abū Dāwūd with a sound chain.
On his authority [Abū Hurayrah], who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There are two categories of the people of the Fire whom I have not [yet] seen: a people with whips like the tails of cattle, with which they beat the people; and women clothed yet naked, swaying and seducing, their heads like the leaning humps of camels — they shall not enter Paradise, nor shall they find its fragrance, though its fragrance is surely found from such-and-such a distance away." Narrated by Muslim. The meaning of "clothed" is: with the blessing of Allah; "naked" is: of gratitude for it. It has [also] been said its meaning is: she covers part of her body and exposes part of it to display her beauty and the like. And it has been said: she wears a thin garment that reveals the colour of her body. As for the meaning of "swaying" (māʾilāt), it has been said: [turning] away from the obedience of Allah and what they are obliged to preserve; "seducing" (mumīlāt) means: they teach others their blameworthy conduct. And it has been said: "swaying" means they walk with a swaggering gait, "seducing" inclining their shoulders. And it has been said: "swaying" means they comb their hair in the slanted style — which is the coiffure of harlots — and "seducing" means they comb others in that style. "Their heads like the humps of camels" means: they enlarge and magnify them by winding a turban or a band or the like around them.
