Such as ablution, the ritual bath, and dry ablution (tayammum); putting on the garment, the sandal, the leather sock, and the trousers; entering the mosque; using the tooth-stick; applying kohl; trimming the nails; clipping the moustache; plucking the armpit hair; shaving the head; giving the salutation at the close of prayer; eating; drinking; shaking hands; touching the Black Stone; leaving the lavatory; taking and giving; and other acts of the same nature. It is recommended to give precedence to the left in the opposite of these, such as blowing the nose, spitting to the left, entering the lavatory, leaving the mosque, removing the leather sock, the sandal, the trousers, and the garment, cleaning oneself after relieving nature, performing offensive tasks, and the like.

Allah the Exalted said:
So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record!
الآيات، وقَالَ تَعَالَى:
the verses; and He the Exalted said:
فَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ مَآ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ
Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?1
وعن عائشة ﵂، قالت: كَانَ رسولُ الله - ﷺ - يُعْجِبُهُ التَّيَمُّنُ في شَأنِهِ كُلِّهِ: في طُهُورِهِ، وَتَرَجُّلِهِ، وَتَنَعُّلِهِ. متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) loved to begin with the right in all his affairs — in his purification, in combing his hair, and in putting on his sandals. Agreed upon.
وعنها، قالت: كَانَتْ يَدُ رسول الله - ﷺ - اليُمْنَى لِطُهُورِهِ وَطَعَامِهِ، وَكَانَتِ الْيُسْرَى لِخَلائِهِ وَمَا كَانَ مِنْ أذَىً. حديث صحيح، رواه أَبُو داود وغيره بإسنادٍ صحيحٍ.
She also reported: The right hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was for his purification and his food, and the left was for the lavatory and whatever was offensive. A sound hadith, narrated by Abū Dāwūd and others with a sound chain.
وعن أم عطية ﵂: أنَّ النَّبيَّ - ﷺ - قَالَ لهن في غَسْلِ ابْنَتِهِ زَيْنَبَ ﵂: «ابْدَأنَ بِمَيَامِنِهَا، وَمَوَاضِعِ الوُضُوءِ مِنْهَا». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
Umm ʿAṭiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them concerning the washing of his daughter Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her): "Begin with her right side and the places of ablution on her." Agreed upon.
وعن أَبي هريرة - ﵁: أنَّ رسول الله - ﷺ - قَالَ: «إِذَا انْتَعَلَ أحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْيُمْنَى، وَإِذَا نَزَعَ فَلْيَبْدأْ بِالشِّمَالِ. لِتَكُنْ اليُمْنَى أوَّلَهُمَا تُنْعَلُ، وَآخِرُهُمَا تُنْزَعُ». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you puts on his sandals, let him begin with the right, and when he takes them off, let him begin with the left. Let the right be the first to be shod and the last to be removed." Agreed upon.
وعن حفصة ﵂: أنَّ رسول الله - ﷺ - كَانَ يجعل يَمينَهُ لطَعَامِهِ وَشَرَابِهِ وَثِيَابِهِ، وَيَجْعَلُ يَسَارَهُ لِمَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ. رواه أَبُو داود والترمذي وغيره.
Ḥafṣah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used his right hand for his food, his drink, and his clothing, and would use his left hand for everything else. Narrated by Abū Dāwūd, al-Tirmidhī, and others.
وعن أَبي هُريرة - ﵁: أنَّ رسول الله - ﷺ - قَالَ: «إِذَا لَبِسْتُمْ، وَإِذَا تَوَضَّأتُمْ، فَابْدَأوا بأيَامِنِكُمْ» حديث صحيح، رواه أَبُو داود والترمذي بإسناد صحيح.
Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you dress and when you perform ablution, begin with your right sides." A sound hadith, narrated by Abū Dāwūd and al-Tirmidhī with a sound chain.
وعن أنس - ﵁: أنَّ رسول الله - ﷺ - أتى مِنىً، فَأتَى الْجَمْرَةَ فَرَمَاهَا، ثُمَّ أتَى مَنْزِلَهُ بِمِنَىً ونحر، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِلحَلاَّقِ: «خُذْ» وأشَارَ إِلَى جَانِبهِ الأَيْمَنِ، ثُمَّ الأَيْسَرِ، ثُمَّ جَعَلَ يُعْطِيهِ النَّاسَ. متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. وفي رواية: لما رمَى الجَمْرَةَ، وَنَحَرَ نُسُكَهُ وَحَلَقَ، نَاوَلَ الحَلاَّقَ شِقَّهُ الأَيْمَنَ فَحَلَقَهُ، ثُمَّ دَعَا أَبَا طَلْحَةَ الأنْصَارِيَّ - ﵁ - فَأعْطَاهُ إيَّاهُ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَهُ الشِّقَّ الأَيْسَرَ، فَقَالَ: «احْلِقْ»، فَحَلَقَهُ فَأعْطَاهُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ، فَقَالَ: «اقْسِمْهُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ».
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Minā, went to the Jamrah and stoned it, then came to his lodging at Minā and offered the sacrifice. He then said to the barber: "Take," and pointed to the right side of his head, then the left. Then he began to give it [his hair] out to the people. Agreed upon. In another narration: When he had stoned the Jamrah, sacrificed his offering, and shaved, he handed the barber the right side of his head and he shaved it; then he called Abū Ṭalḥah al-Anṣārī (may Allah be pleased with him) and gave it to him. Then he handed him the left side and said: "Shave," and he shaved it; then he gave it to Abū Ṭalḥah and said: "Distribute it among the people."
