Hadith1720

- ﵁ - - ﷺ -

Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Swearing oaths [in trade] makes goods sell quickly but wipes out the blessing of earnings.” Agreed upon.

Abū Qatādah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Beware of swearing oaths often in trade, for it makes [goods] sell and then wipes out [the blessing].” Narrated by Muslim.
