١١٣ - باب كراهة النفخ في الشراب

From Abu Saʿid al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet ﷺ forbade blowing into a drink. A man said, "[What about] the speck I see in the vessel?" He said, "Pour it out." The man said, "I cannot quench my thirst in a single breath." He said, "Then take the cup away from your mouth [as you breathe]." Reported by al-Tirmidhi, who said: "A good and sound hadith (ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ)."

And from Ibn ʿAbbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Prophet ﷺ forbade breathing into the vessel or blowing into it. Reported by al-Tirmidhi, who said: "A good and sound hadith (ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ)."
