Hadith1358

- ﵁ - - ﷺ:

On the authority of Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: «Whoever frees a Muslim slave, Allah will free, for every limb of that slave, a limb of his own from the Fire — even his private part for his private part.» Agreed upon.

Hadith1359

وعن أَبي ذرٍ - ﵁ - قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رسول الله، أيُّ الأعمَالِ أفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: «الإيمَانُ بِاللهِ، وَالجِهَادُ في سَبيلِ اللهِ» قَالَ: قُلْتُ: أيُّ الرِّقَابِ أفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: «أنْفَسُهَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِهَا، وَأَكْثَرُهَا ثَمَنًا». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ.

On the authority of Abū Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I said: «O Messenger of Allah, which deed is best?» He said: «Faith in Allah, and striving (jihād) in the path of Allah.» He said: I said: «Which slaves are best [to free]?» He said: «Those most prized by their owners and the most expensive in price.» Agreed upon.
