Hadith1734

- ﵁ - - ﷺ:

On the authority of Ibn Masʿūd (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The believer is not one given to defaming, nor to cursing, nor to obscenity, nor to foul speech." Narrated by al-Tirmidhī, who said: "A good hadith."

On the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Obscenity is not present in anything but it disgraces it, and modesty is not present in anything but it adorns it." Narrated by al-Tirmidhī, who said: "A good hadith."
