Hadith1649

- ﵁: - ﷺ -

From Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: «Let none of you walk wearing a single sandal; let him wear both together, or take both off together.» In another narration: «or let him carry both together.» Agreed upon (al-Bukhārī and Muslim).

From him, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: «When the strap of one of your sandals breaks, let him not walk in the other until he mends it.» Narrated by Muslim.

From Jābir (may Allah be pleased with him): that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a man from putting on sandals while standing. Narrated by Abū Dāwūd with a chain that is good (ḥasan).
