Whoever embraces Islam, regains consciousness, reaches maturity, or a woman becomes pure [from menstruation], while enough of the prayer time remains for the opening takbīr (ḥurūma)—performing it is obligatory on him.

Whoever embraces Islam, regains consciousness, reaches maturity, or a woman becomes pure [from menstruation], while enough of the prayer time remains for the opening takbīr (ḥurūma)—performing it is obligatory on him.
If he apostatises, loses his reason, or menstruates at that moment, [the prayer] is not obligatory on him.
