And we call the people of our qiblah Muslims and believers so long as they acknowledge what the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, brought, believe him in all that he said and reported, and do not deny it
The reality of faith and refutation of the Murjiʾah
And we call the people of our qiblah Muslims and believers so long as they acknowledge what the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, brought, believe him in all that he said and reported, and do not deny it
We do not dispute regarding the Qurʾān
And we bear witness that it is the speech of the Lord of the worlds, sent down by the Trustworthy Spirit, who taught it to the Master of the Messengers, Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace
We do not say: a sin does not harm one who commits it alongside faith
We hope for the doers of good among the believers that He will pardon them and admit them to Paradise by His mercy
We do not testify for them of Paradise, nor do we deem them secure
And we seek forgiveness for their wrongdoers and fear for them
We do not despair of them
Security and despair remove one from the religion
And the path of truth between them is for the people of the qiblah
A servant does not leave faith except by denying what brought him into it
Faith is declaration by the tongue and affirmation by the heart
Faith is one, and its people are equal in its foundation; rank among them is by fear, piety, resisting caprice, and adhering to what is best
All that Allah revealed in the Qurʾān and all sound reports from the Messenger of the law and its exposition are true
All believers are the allies of the All-Merciful; the most honoured before Allah are the most obedient and most devoted to the Qurʾān
And the foundation of faith is faith in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, resurrection after death, and divine decree — its good and its evil, its sweet and its bitter — from Allah Most High; and we believe in all of that. {We make no distinction between any of His messengers} [al-Baqarah: 285], and we affirm them all in what they brought.
