and that Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, is His chosen servant, His elect Prophet, and His approved Messenger
Prophethood and the Qurʾān
and that Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, is His chosen servant, His elect Prophet, and His approved Messenger
and that he is the Seal of the Prophets
Imam of the Godfearing
Master of the Messengers
Beloved of the Lord of the worlds
and every claim to prophethood after his prophethood is error and caprice
He is the one sent to all jinn and all mankind with truth and guidance, with light and radiance
The Qur'an is the Speech of Allah; from Him it began, as speech without modality. He sent it down to His Messenger as revelation. The believers affirm that as true and are certain that it is truly the Speech of Allah Most High, not created like the speech of creatures
Whoever hears it and claims that it is the speech of human beings has committed unbelief (kufr)
Allah censured him, condemned him, and threatened him with Saqar, as He said, Most High: {I shall roast him in Saqar}
When Allah threatened Saqar for the one who said, {This is nothing but the speech of a human being}, we knew and became certain that it is the speech of the Creator of human beings and does not resemble the speech of human beings
Whoever describes Allah with any meaning from the meanings of human beings has committed unbelief
Whoever perceives this takes heed, and refrains from the like of what the disbelievers say
and he knows that He, in His attributes, is not like human beings
