The people of major sins from the community of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, will not remain forever in the Fire if they die affirming Allah's oneness, even if they were not repentant, after meeting Allah knowing Him and believing

People of major sins and takfīr
They are within His will and judgement: if He wills, He forgives them and pardons them by His bounty, as He mentioned, Mighty and Majestic, in His Book: {and He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills}; and if He wills, He punishes them in the Fire by His justice, then removes them from it by His mercy and the intercession of the intercessors among the people of His obedience, then raises them to His Garden. That is because Allah Most High has taken charge of the people who know Him and has not made them in the two abodes like the people who deny Him, who failed to receive His guidance and did not attain His patronage
O Allah, Patron of Islam and its people, make us firm upon Islam until we meet You with it
وَنَرَى الصَّلَاةَ خَلْفَ كُلِّ بَرٍّ وَفَاجِرٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ القِبْلَةِ، وَعَلَى مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْهُمْ
We hold prayer to be valid behind every righteous and wicked person among the people of the qiblah, and over whoever dies from among them
ولا ننزل أحداً منهم جنةً ولا ناراً
We do not assign anyone definitively to Paradise or to the Fire
ولا نشهدُ عليهم بكُفرٍ ولا بِشِرْكٍ ولا بنفاق ما لم يظهر منهم شيءٌ من ذلك
We do not testify against them of unbelief, association, or hypocrisy unless something of that appears from them
وَنَذَرُ سَرَائِرَهُمْ إِلَى اللهِ تَعَالَى
and we leave their inward secrets to Allah Most High
ولا نرى السيف على أحد من أمة محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام [إلا من وجب عليه السيف]
We do not deem the sword lawful against anyone of the community of Muḥammad (peace be upon him) [except one upon whom the sword is obligatory]
